Dr Giulia Siravegna

Dr Siravegna graduated in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Torino, Medical School in 2011. She completed her PhD in Molecular Medicine at the University of Torino, Medical School, as a member of Prof. Bardelli’s Molecular Oncology Lab in the Candiolo Cancer institute. Dr. Siravegna is responsible for liquid biopsy projects and circulating tumor DNA analysis and her training includes molecular and mutational profiling of tumour samples as well as functional analysis of cellular models to assess the role of individual cancer mutations and tumor evolution in the response to therapies. She is an expert in the detection of genetic alterations in tissue and liquid biopsy samples using sensitive technologies such as BEAMing, digital PCR and Next Generation Sequencing platforms.
